Whizdom 101
Project Type: Mixed-Use Sustainable Development
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Project Size: 3.66 million SQ FT
Whizdom 101 represents a landmark achievement in sustainable, mixed‑use urban design in the heart of Bangkok. As an architectural leader with Gensler’s Bangkok studio, I guided the project from early visioning through design refinement, integrating environmental performance with vibrant city living.
Conceived as a dynamic destination, Whizdom 101 blends residential, workplace, retail, and communal spaces within a cohesive master plan that responds to Bangkok’s climate and cultural context. At its core, the development prioritizes human experience and environmental resilience through sustainable design strategies—passive ventilation, optimized daylighting, green roofs, shaded public realms, and high‑performance façades—to reduce energy demand and improve occupant comfort.
The architectural language is contemporary yet contextually grounded, weaving together connected urban spaces that encourage community interaction, social engagement, and fluid movement between programmed zones. Thoughtfully designed amenity spaces foster a sense of belonging, while landscape‑driven corridors and plazas knit the development into the surrounding urban fabric.
In my role leading the architectural effort, I coordinated cross‑disciplinary teams, guided design excellence, and collaborated closely with stakeholders to ensure delivery of an innovative mixed‑use model that elevates both environmental performance and urban vitality. Whizdom 101 stands as a testament to Gensler’s commitment to sustainable city building and my own dedication to design leadership in complex, forward‑looking urban projects.
